System 3 Software Ltd is a British independent video game developer and publisher founded in 1982. They created iconic games such as The Last Ninja and Constructor.
Originally invited to pitch for the design of their website, we advised the client to take their strategy a step further and modernise their identity to reflect their status as one of the UK's leading games companies. This led me to produce a completely new look and feel for them. The aim was to create a strong and recognisable emblem that would proudly represent the company's heritage while standing out in the bold graphic landscape of the industry. The "S3" logomark was designed to carry these traits, giving a sense of physical dimension through its isometric structure. The angular lines of the typography and iconography express strength and energy, further enhanced by a bright and electric colour palette. The logo can also animate and be used for loading screens in the games.
